Buy a whole chicken (I always get the one without the organs etc, inside it but otherwise make sure to remove those), wash and dry it. Then rub it in with spices of your choice.
Put it on top of chopped up celery (4 stalks), 1 onion chopped up and place the chicken on top of it.
Put it on high for 6 hours and it will fall off the bone.
You can serve it as is with some side dishes or you can pull the chicken off the bones and use it for several different meals for instance use part to make a chicken salad to make sandwiches for lunch.
I also like to make a cold quinoa salad and put some pieces of chicken in there which makes for an excellent healthy dish.
